Please join us as we welcome Allen Black at our February meeting. Allen is a hobbyist (i.e., non-commercial), novelty orchid breeder living in Richmond, Va. His main breeding efforts have been directed at Brassavola-Cattleya alliance novelty hybrids of which he has 80 registered hybrids. He performs his own orchid laboratory work, flask media preparation, seed sowing and replanting.
